You retain complete, unencumbered ownership of all images, documents, invoices, receipts, and notes you upload to ImgOcrTxt, as well as the resulting extracted text. ImgOcrTxt asserts no copyright or intellectual property claims over your files or conversion outputs.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ImgOcrTxt (accessible at imgocrtxt.com) or any of its associated conversion tools and APIs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. 2. Description of the Service
ImgOcrTxt provides an online optical character recognition (OCR) suite and image to text converter capable of extracting textual data, spreadsheets, and handwriting from digital images (JPG, PNG, WEBP, PDF, etc.) and exporting the output into formats including TXT, DOCX, XLSX/CSV, and Searchable PDF.
3. Acceptable Use Policy & User Conduct
You agree to use ImgOcrTxt only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from:
- Uploading content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, or infringing upon third-party copyrights or intellectual property rights.
- Using automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to overwhelm, exploit, or bypass service rate limits without prior written consent.
- Attempting to probe, scan, test the vulnerability of, or reverse-engineer the underlying OCR infrastructure and neural runtime.
- Uploading files containing malware, viruses, trojans, malicious macros, or corrupted data payloads.
4. Intellectual Property Rights & Ownership
User Content: You retain full copyright and ownership rights to all source files and extracted text. We do not claim any ownership rights over your documents.
Service IP: The ImgOcrTxt website design, branding, logo, code, UI components, and software algorithms are the exclusive property of ImgOcrTxt and are protected by applicable trademark and copyright laws.
5. Fair Usage & Rate Limits
To maintain high conversion speeds and equitable server access for all global users, we enforce standard fair-usage rate limits on automated conversions. Users requiring dedicated programmatic API access should contact our business team.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IMGOCRTXT AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM SERVICE OUTAGES, LOSS OF DATA, OR OCR TRANSCRIPTION INACCURACIES.
